Around El Puntal
Starts in Lebrancón, beside the Olmos de la Soledad, circling around the hill to return to the village. Walkers progress through Spanish juniper and holm oak woodland, terrain abundant with mammal tracks: an interpretive panel explains how to recognize tracks and signs left by local wildlife.
The chozón
Along the trail stands a chozón sabinero, one of the traditional drystone and juniper pastoral shelters, now disused, dotting the uplands of the Alto Tajo. If interested in pastoral heritage, continue with Ruta Etnográfica 2 nearby.
Before you set out
