Mirador de Fina: roadside balcony over the Tagus
The Mirador de Fina, in Taravilla, sits right by the road, looking out over the canyon carved by the Tagus on its way to the Poveda bridge, just after Salto de Poveda. It looks across black pine, juniper, gall oak, and box forests, with griffon vultures taking off from the cliffs of Muela del Conde.

A viewpoint for everyone
The great advantage of Mirador de Fina, besides the view, is that there is no hiking involved: it sits right beside the road. Ideal if travelling with elderly companions or small children.
What you see
A canyon covered in forest: black pine, Spanish juniper, gall oak, and box, with only the golden limestone cliffs breaking through. Below, the clear Tagus flows toward the Poveda bridge, just downstream from Salto de Poveda, accompanied by a cool, shaded riparian woodland that contrasts with the Mediterranean vegetation on the slopes.
Vultures on Muela del Conde
If you look up at the cliffs of Muela del Conde, you will see griffon vultures constantly landing and taking flight.
