A village turned into a museum

In Hombrados, south of Molina, there is no need to ask for a key. The Open-Air Museum is laid out through the streets and borders of the village: numerous curious pieces of farm machinery, tools, and implements that for decades made it possible to work these cold, stony fields.

Why it was created

The goal was to highlight the industrial and ethnographic heritage of the district and bring fresh interest to the village. It was carried out with a modest investment of about 17,000 euros, more than two thirds contributed by the regional rural development group.

Walking through

It takes an easy short stroll, open at any hour. It pairs naturally with visits to the museums in El Pobo de Dueñas or the La Yunta tower.
